Sorry not a great deal to report today. Our friends Pam and Ian fell in love with the area when they visited us a few weeks ago and they were particularly interested in a house down in Estaction. They had asked us to view it for them and report back and today is the big day.
After walking the dogs and having breakfast we went into town, today is Market day, Susan bought a curtain for the bathroom from a really slimy Spanish man with gold teeth and a Mullet. Then we went onto the Fruit market for some fruit and veg, as usual it was busy but I think somebody skipped the queue. We had coffee at Mason Los Rosales then walked back, dropped the dogs in the house then headed off to meet Lisa the estate agent in Estacion
We drove for miles up a landrover track, once again we are thankfull for the 4x4. Eventually we came to the finca, it is idyllic here, just by the river with only a couple of other houses nearby. The house was stunning, we really liked it and we are sure Pam and Ian will too.
We looked round, I took loads of photgraphs and video clips then the Lisa left us and we walked down to the river and across the foot bridge. It is so peacefull here, we would love it. I hope they buy it, we could use the pool.
We drove back into Estacion then out the road on the other side of the river to get a look from the other side, it's actually easier to get to the finca on this road. We bought rolls in the supermarket.
After lunch I put together some thoughts and information along with pic for Pam and Ian, then we spent the rest of the afternoon bouncing emails back and forward regarding the property.
We also managed to find time to clean and make the bed for Helen who arrives tomorrow. We wern't hungry so we didnt bother with tea but typically we then felt peckish so we were just about to go next door for tapas when Ian called with more questions about the house.
Tapas next door was not as good as usual, it was cold in the middle - we were really disappointed as this place is normally great. Must be an off day.
A view from another possible house.
