Helen

An early start today as Helen arrives at 9.30am so we get up in the dark, walk the dogs and then set off for Malaga. We'd decided to try the Campillos road for a change so we drove up to Ardalles then set the tom tom to take us to the airport. It took us off at a tiny little road that was really busy and we were quite late. It is a good alternative to the toll road but I still think if you are meeting or catching a flight it's better to be on the main road.

We picked Helen up, stopped at a Motorway service station for coffee then drove down to the beach at Davids house. Helen wanted to paddle so we walked the dogs along the beach between Davids and Sabinillas - about 3 miles. We had lunch in a beach cafe then I walked the dogs back along the beach, Susan and Helen waited and I collected them.

This huge rock is on the beach near to Davids apartment.

Susan and Helen on the walkway, I was on the beach throwing the ball for the dogs.

Can you guess which way the wind blows here?

Sabinillas from the walkway near the beach.

I liked the waves crashing along the rocks here.

This area is good for kite surfing, it looks great fun but too risky for me.

When I stopped throwing the ball they found their own entertainment.

More rocks and waves!

I collected them at the roadside and we drove back up to the mountains. Had a chat then went out to get wine, we had a coffee in Los Amigos, there was a birthday party going on for some kiddies, this is a really odd bar. The woman that owns it drinks something out of a silver goblet with a silver straw, like Pheonix Nights.

We walked back via Dia then went for Chicken - an early night as we're all knackered.
