A bit more to say

Susan was feeling a bit better, she managed to get out of bed and have a shower so she's definately on the mend - still in a bit of pain though.

With losing an hour and not having a great night we didn't rise until after 9 so I walked the usual walk round the olive groves then had breakfast. I took them out to the Cork Forest and did the usual 4 miles, the dogs still love it here. It was a bit busier this time, 2 of the 3 houses had people in them, I think they must be owned by rich Spanish people and only used at weekends. The largest one seems to be getting a lot of work done there were workmen there building.

This house is really on it's own, it's right in the middle of the forest with no other habitation nearby, bet you dont get broadband internet there! Must be spooky at nights.

We walked the usual way, out to the junction and back again with a break for drinks and treats at the turning point. We saw loads of mountainbikers again - probably around 50 of them.

After I got back we sat on the terrace for a while, did a bot of washing then went out to the new bar up the road for lunch. It was absolutely mobbed with Spanish Families eating and drinking, the food looked really good and I was concerned we'd never get served. However we got our order taken, sat outside and we were served just a few minutes later. We each had a plate of Montaditos ( a sort of hamburger) as well as a plate of Spanish Stew with chips, a small beer and a diet coke - guess how much. 7 Euros, yes SEVEN can you believe it a good full meal and drinks for less than a Fiver.
Another round of cleaning, this time I made the double sofa bed for Holly and then cleaned the floors and stairs, did a bit of ironing then took the dogs out again for the usual. These flowers have really come out now, we think they are wild irises but we're not sure. The grass is full of them and they look really summery.
A late dinner and watched top gear.
Hopefully more to report tomorrow.
