Another day in paradise

Susans back seems a little better again so we get stuck into the cleaning again ready for our next set of visitors. After cleaning and ironing I took the dogs back to the cork forest for the usual walk. The sky was clear blue and it was very hot. Apart from the park workers driving like nutters we didnt see anyone. The 2 planes were so clear and they looked like they were only a few meters apart, I'm sure they weren't - I hope they weren't!

We did the 2.4 miles out to the junction, sat on a rock in the peace and contempleted life for a while. We all had a drink then headed back to the car.

When I got back we had lunch and sat in the sun on the terrace for the afternoon, spoke to a few people on Skype then went out to the olive groves with the dogs. There was an old man sitting on a rock eating a huge Kit Kat and he appeared to have a bag full of chocolate, maybe he was planning to sit there and have a picnic. I then spotted the boxer from across the road getting exercised behind a car, the owner appears to be injured so he makes the dog chase the car up the track. He had to hobble out when he saw us though and get the dog back in the car.

Ben was almost howling again, I'm determined to catch this on video sometime but I failed tonight again - sorry.
We watched the Wedding Crashers on DVD - a bad copy that kept jumping but it looked like a great movie, I might buy a proper copy.
Had dinner, walked to the bank for our weekly payment then off to bed, an early start tomorrow.
