Macho

Susans back is still sore althought she thinks a little better, she can certainly get around a little better but still spent most of the day in bed.

I took the dogs for the usual walk round the olive groves, on the way back we met an old Spanish man who was very interested in the dogs, he kept talking away to me even though I told him I didnt understand. He mentioned Macho, I now understood what he was asking so I said "si, Mucho Moacho" he seemed suitably impressed and gave me a knowing wink, not quite sure what that was all about but he patted each dog then went on his way. It appears that even in the dog world males are far more important than females - and quite right too!

After breakfast I took the dogs to the cork forest for the usual 2 hour walk, the paths were really busy today, park workers, families, mountain bikers - loads of people. There was even people living in one of the houses we pass on the way. We walked to the usual point then turned and walked back to the car, it was a great day and we all enjoyed the walk.

After lunch I did a little cleaning and tidying up, Susan watched Hairspray and the devil wears prada - she enjoyed them both. I'd decided the time was right to get the white bits tanned so up to the roof terrace and off came the watch strap - that'll do. I finished my book, took the dogs out again and then cleaned the car out.

I made dinner and thats about all to report for today, sorry things have got a little quiet, once Susan is back up on her feet things will get more exciting!
