Another brilliant day in the Spanish Countryside

This is the mountain that Adam ran up yesterday

We had yet another lazy day, this is becoming a habit, it was a a late night so we woke up around 8, I walked the dogs the usual way round the olive groves and fields, School is back today so we had schoolchildren to contend with.

A quick breakfast then some time on the roof terrace. I managed to break the box that controls the internet phone, last night we were able to make calls but not receive them so after a bit of internet surfing I thought I had found the solution! Not only did I make it worse but I seem to have totally knackered it and have no idea how to get it back. So, a few emails and calls to Mum, she has now bought a new box for me which will get me sorted when she arrives tomorrow. In the meantime cousin David, my technical guru reckons he can sort it for me so I'll take it with me on Wednesday when we go to see him. To add insult to injury, my mobile packed up today too prompting me to buy a new one from Ebay. Speaking of Ebay I managed to find the cable I need on Ebay which will allow us to listen to the radio on the terrace.

I mucked around with the blog a little bit and have uploaded photographs to Google Picassa and linked them to a map so you can see where they are taken. I've also captioned them so that in 10 yeard when we look back on this trip we can see what was taken where. Ok I know it;s sad!

I was getting stir crazy and the dogs needed out so I walked them down the path to the Estacion, a good 3 miles downhill in the countryside, the dogs loved it and I did too. I took a walkie talkie with me and arranged to call Susan when I needed collected, typically the signal was bad and she didnt hear me, and of course my mobile was broken. I was just contemplating a long walk back up the hill when the radio spluttered to life and she came on. She did well driving that twisty windy road on her own.

We had to get a few things from the shops for my Mother arriving tomorrow but we also needed cash, we went to the bank but for some reason it would not give us any cash, we think that by taking out a load of cash last week we might have gone over our limit, we'll drop in tomorrow and see what the problem is. We had to do a shop on a budget and managed to get most of what we needed with the cash we had.

A bit of cleaning and making beds tonight should see the house ready for the visitors.
