It's been an interesting day today, as usual the weather was fantastic. Susan was up a few times in the night so I got up and took the dogs for the usual walk up the hill through the Olive Groves, the sun was just breaking over the valley, it was a little cold in the shade but I could see it was going to be a great day. We had breakfast and did a bit of cleaning and general tidying up for David and his guests arriving this afternoon.

We think this might be Almond Blossom

Me and the boys in Atajate town centre
We set off around lunch time for Atajate where we know of a really nice little restaurant for Lunch, the plan was to find somewhere to walk the dogs before Lunch, however, every track we started on turned out to lead right to somebodys house or building site so we ended up walking round the village instead. We met lots of little dogs that made a lot of noice but were pretty scared of us. The dogs behaved themselves and we found our way back to the restaurant where the staff were hyappy for us to let the dogs lie under the table. One young waitress was interested in the dogs and she kept asking if they were Macho, we did not really understand what that meant until she lifted Bens tale and had a look, this was followed by a very appreciative "si - very macho", why dont young girls do that to me?

Ben and his new friend
During Lunch we were joined by a stray dog that was running around, she was a lovely cross lab and something, very friendly - Ben was keen to play but Dan was not interested. She pestered us for a while then took off presumably back to wherever she lives. There was a group of motorcyclists at the next table, it did worry me a little the number of beers they had before they took off. A police motorcyclist drove past followed closely by 2 motorcyclists followed by another cop, presumably the motorbikers had been lifted and were being escorted to the Police Station, the motorbikers at the next table found this very amusing.

The Yorkies next door were getting a bath

David, Susan and Katie
They left and we wandered up the hill with the dogs then had a cheese sandwich for dinner - life does not get more exciting than this!.
