Alex and Christine

Today is Airport day again, Alex and Christine arrive today from Glasgow. It's been anoisy night, we had a real downpour during the night as well as a large dose of Thunder which seemed to be right above the house. Ben was beside himself in the early hours but it passed quickly. The Spanish will love this weather, the countryside is very dry and the rain not only helps the fight against forest fires but it will make the spring flowers really good this year. We cant complain as it is the first real rain we have seen.

We leave Tony and Lisa then head off to Malaga, stopping at La Canada for a curtain pole and duvet on the way. Susan drove right to the airport, the first time.

We arrived just in time, met Alex and Christine at arrivals and headed back up the road. The rain on route was terrible, I considered waiting in a tunnell until it passed. We had coffee and sat chatting for a bit, then we went out for lunch and a walk round the town. Lunch was much more than we expected but very good.

Back home for a chat and kick around the house. It's procession night where the Church people drag various statues round the village, it's a big deal and lots off people come out to watch.

We started with dinner in Santiagos, he was pleased to see us and looked after us well as usual.

We wandered by the Church when the procession was just starting so we wathched and photographed it for a while then wandered round to another point on the route. I'd seen this last year and nothing changes, processions are not really my thing so I left the others and headed back early.

A few shots to give you an idea of what goes on.
Tomorrow it's Gib again, Alex and Christine are keen to go so we'll all head in and have another look round.

The plants are all doing well, we now have a little of everythign that was planted. We'll need to prick them out soon
