Back safely and it’s bloody hot

First off, I’m trying out a new bit of software to publish the blog, normally I have to be on-line to write the blog, that wont be possible when we are traveling back as we wont have internet access very often. It is possible to write the text and save it then copy and paste but that is a hassle. I discovered this software that should allow me to write it up as normal, save it on the pc then when we have web access I can publish it – lest see!

Mum, Sandy and I traveled back to Malaga Airport on Friday, they were flying to Edinburgh and I was flying to Glasgow, I left an hour before them but had a 30 min delay. The agreement was that we would meet up in Perth. It all went to plan and I waited in McDonalds in Perth for them, I had some messages regarding Wedding Photography to return so I did that, sitting in the Kiddies Play Area writing notes with coloured crayons.

We drove to Inchture and I went to Tesco to get things for me and also for Mum then Mum and I went to the Inchture Hotel for dinner. I had not slept well for a few days and the plane journey seemed to go on for ages, I was totally exhausted, I could not even finish my Steak Pie, normally one of my favorites! I drove home and for some reason couldn’t sleep again, too hot in Spain, too cold in Scotland – there is no pleasing me!

The following morning I had to drive to Kinross to see a couple that might want me to photograph their Wedding in Dec 2009, they seemed keen to book me but it’s not a booking until the deposit arrives. I drove back to Perth for Kelly and Nicks Wedding, it was a very interesting day, can’t say too much here but if you really want to know email me.  Home to sort the pics, stopping by Tom and Jennys on the way for a quick chat. The processing of photographs normally takes about 6 hours, for some reason I managed this one in 4 hours so an early night – again not getting sleep.

Up at 4.20 to drive down and collect Mum and Irene who once again got up early to give Mum company (thanks Irene) on the journey. This is the last journey for them as Tom is running me back to the airport on my next and final trip. I am a bit annoyed, I had bought a load of nice mature cheese in Tesco as you can’t get decent cheese here, did I not go and leave it in the fridge, prat!

The journey was good, on time, easy and quite stress free, I called the car company as soon as we landed and they collected me as soon as I got out of the airport, the car was waiting and I drove off. The drive home was quick and quiet, but really really hot. Susan says it is cooler than the last 2 days but it is really hot.

This is a test photograph, it was actually taken in New Zealand, I just wanted to se if the picture upload works – it obviously does!
