Gibraltar - Again!

John and Jenny were desperate to go to Gibraltar, John especially was keen for fish and chips in an English bar! So they persuaded us to drive, something about not fitting all their Morrisons shopping into their little hire car.

We drove the usual road, the storks are in residence and every site was full of birds with young chicks. We stopped for photographs. We arrived at Gib as a plane was leaving so the border was closed, we took around 30 mins to get through the border. Parked in Morrisons and headed for main street.

We stopped for lunch in Irish town, the food was ok, as good as can be expected on Gib. Wandered up to the shops, Susan went to Markies, I looked at new sunglasses and then we wandered round a bit - Jenny treated us to Ice cream.

Back to Morrisons for a bit of food shopping and petrol. The petrol prices has gone up to 76p per litre. We needed more shopping and I wanted the vodafone 3g card so we carried on to La Linea Carrefour, had coffee and finished our shopping.

We drove home, had Pizzaa for dinner - not very exciting I'm afraid.
