We set off, the dogs thought it was great fun, running back and forward between the 4 of us. We cycled through the first tunnell, the lights came on fine. All was going well. The next tunell had lights but they did not work so we spent over 100 metres feeling our way along the wall in total darkness, it must be like this to be blind - not a nice thought.

We saw a few other walkers, a British couple were walking along, she seemed to be carrying all their posessions in a carrier bag.
We passed this goat that was sitting on the top of a car

We had lunch and cycled back, the dogs were struggling, everytime we stopped they lay down panting so we took it really slowly. We eventually came back to the long dark tunnell, thankfully a couple of French cyclists came through and turned back with us to light the way for us. We made it back at 6pm after 30km exactly of cycling. All sore and tired.
When we got home we went for a snack to Fuente, John and Jenny turned up too. I took the dogs out, Dan was so tired I had to carry him down the stairs, he really cant walk a step.

No wonder the dogs were tired. Hope they have recovered today. They looked like they enjoyed it all though. Hope the bottoms are not so sore today!
They are almost back to normal, Ben is fine but Dan seems stiff bit gradually getting better, we wont walk them for a day or 2
Flower looks like Cardus Hutans Nodding Thistle. I would need an idea of scale and description of leaves to be certain. BTW in case Germarta Llim (anag) is reading your blog British has a capital 'B'!
Which TomTom map are you using? The one of Europe, or Spain and Portugal?
Well spotted, would not like Germarta Llim to have issues with my spllieng. The spell checker does not work for some reason and people of my generation do rely on them. I use the Tom Tom Europe which is very accurate in some areas and very bad in others. Are you bringing yours with you when you come?
