Friday
We had agreed to meet another estate agent to view 2 houses for Pam and Ian. Typically when we get there they have another one to see so off we go in the back of the car with the Estate Agent and the in house Lawyer who is the only one that speaks English. We saw the first house, apart from the dead dog lying in the driveway it was a nice house and we agreed it might be suitable. The second one was really nice and defininately one for the list. By now the Agent had been on the phone arranging more houses to see, once they have you they dont let go. The next house was definately not suitable so we hardly even looked inside - just said no.
Of we go to the next house, this was in Benaojan, so unsuitable we refused to get out the car - however, they had another one that was just right and on our way back to Ronda! Right enough it was by the road and quite nice so it went on the list - I get hacked off when they take you prisoner and make you look at houses but fair play, we had 2 definites and 1 possible.
We had a bit of lunch in Ronda, went and did a little shopping and headed home. Dan was up and about so that was good, he even managed a slow walk round the olive groves.
As you can see he still likes to sleep in funny positions.

The dogs were filthy and Dan was so weak he could not even groom himself so we decided to bath them. They dont really like it but do tolerate it well. The bath here is good for dogs because it is possible to fold the shower door right back and of course the weather is good so we can take them to the terrace to get dried.
Nafeica is coming to sort a few details for the future bookings so we have to wait in. We clean, not very exciting! Nafeica arrives and spends an hour with us so it was good to see her and catch up. After Lunch Susan lies in the sun and I paint the other 2 front railings.
John and Jenny arrived in the evening for Chicken, today he was open thankfully. We had a good night then went out to a little grotty Spanish bar for a drink. A late night

I am glad that you are recovering Dan. I never thought the day would come when you could hardly walk. Tell them to take good care of you or I will sort them out.
