Helen and I drove to Malaga airport on Friday, she was flying back to Gatwick at 5pm so she had a bit of hanging around, I think she decided that sitting in the Spanish Sun was better than being at Gatwick, she was staying the night at Gatwick before heading off to Innsbruck on Saturday.
My flight home was fine, on time and no hassles, straight through Glasgow - easier with no checked in bags, then onto the bus to Glasgow city centre. I managed to get the early Megabus to Perth and Mum collected me so I was back at her house around 5pm. I took really bad with the weather, there was this water stuff falling from the sky, apparently called rain but I dont know about that!
We had a nice meal with Margaret and Margaret and Ken then I headed home knackered. It was really weird being back in the house on my own, a bit like having a holiday in my own house.
Saturday I stopped by Boots to collect some mail for Susan, did a bit of banking and dealt with some mail and stuff that needed to be done then popped round to see Tom and Jenny, it looks like they can't come and see us in Spain but we might manage to meet up somewhere on our journey.
On Saturday Susan took the dogs for a good walk up the olive groves then up the path to the top of the hill opposite the house.

Dan at the Water Trough, it was too dirty to drink from.

Saturday night was spent sorting the pics, it takes hours to do and is pretty boring I eventually finished at 11pm and headed to bed, the alarm was set for 4.20am, for some reason I awoke at 4.19am - weird.
I drove to Mum's and she and Irene came to Glasgow with me, I drove - probably faster than Mum and Irene were happy with but we got there by 6.20. It was good of Irene to get up so early to give Mum company on the return trip. The flight back was a little late but the bonus was the bus driver that took us to the airport from the plane dropped us at domestic arrivals instead of international so we missed passport control. The passport man came running after us but by then loads of us had mingled with the main crowd so we just kept walking.
I drove home the Ardales road and managed to get back by 3pm, a bit tired but good to be back. The dogs were all over me smiling and licking me, Susan couldn't offer me that type of welcome.

Nice photograph of Jenni and Grant. Grant looks a bit like you did 20 years ago!
If you got into Spain without a passport check, who else did?
Put Jutewallah down for notification of blog updates.
Grants the same age as me, are you saying I look 20 years older? Cheeky bugger
