We parked in El Bosque, it's a lovely town and we remembered it from a visit a few years back. Before we started we had a coffee in Hostal Enrique, it looked a nice small hotel and there were loads of Dutch people there, for some reason they all had Polish registered cars. This flower was growing in the gardens, what is it anybody!

At the start of the walk we spotted a huge Fig Tree, these were almost ready and we picked one to see what it was like.
These flowers were out all over the sides of the path, we have no idea what they are so suggestions welcome.
The path follows the path of the river, due to the very high rain fall over the last few days it was running very fast, too fast to let the dogs swim so they were getting frustrated hearing the water but not being allowed in, we spent lots of time saying, No Dan, come here.
The dogs were on the lead for a while but they got off for around half of the walk.

In Benamahoma we had our picnic in the village square by the bus stop. We spotted a British family, Mother, Father and adult daughter, we knew they were British because Father had a bobble hat and brown trousers - that and the fact we heard them speaking!
We had a coffee in a local bar, the outside seating area was covered in odd things, many of them skulls, I guess they were left behind from what was eaten here last year.
We set off back the way we had come, we got back a lot quicker than we had on the outbound journey. Susan took this one of me on the bridge.
Eventually we found a spot where the river was not too fast and we let the dogs swim for a bit, of course we struggled to get them out after that.
Near the end of the walk we spotted these goats at the side fo the road, baby goats are very friendly and almost always come over for a clap. We fed them some grasses and then went on our way.
Our total distance was 10km.
On the return stretch we walked at an average of 4.3km p/h
We walked for 1.09 hours and stopped for 24 mins
Back in the village there was a load of horses tied up near the Bullring, I reckon the Farrier was in town and the locals were all waiting to get the horses shod. We finished with another coffee and then headed home.
On the way we stopped Lidlfor Gravy Granules but they didnt have any, typically there was only one checkout open and a big queue at it, this could have been Lidl anywhere.
The horse that was dead at the side of the road from last weeks blog was still there but no vultures this time.
A really good day, a good walk that we will do another time.

I think that your white flowers are Allium triquetrum,(Triangular-stalked Garlic)Next time you pass them, give them a sniff. If they smell like a Parisian undergound carriage at 8am, they are probably garlic related and my hunch is correct.
