http://www.holiday-spain.biz/http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/angusandsusan/OurBigTripRoundEurope2Adults2DogsAndATentIt was to be an exciting day, we needed cash so went along to the bank, La Caixa, as always the Manager Jose came to say hello (or Hola) to us. We got the cash we needed and headed for coffee.

We sat outside the Market and had a drink, the sky was slightly cloudy but still pleasant. On the way back to the house we spotted this doorway, there are lots of ornate doors around here. We also spotted the English Guy that had been lifted by the cops last week. He was not swearing this time but was spitting a lot on the ground. I'd offered to buy Susan a new pair of slippers but she was not keen so I found myself a pair which I am very happy with - exciting eh, bet you're glad you are still reading. Mum bought us a new watering can for the seeds, we're really hopeful that there will be at least a few shoots before they leave.

We drove down to Jimera de Libar to get the train up to Benaojan, the dogs were allowed on the train again and were happier this time but they still shook a bit.

This is the girls at the station before we got the train.

We arrived at Benaojan and had a lovely lunch in the station bar, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the food. The guy was really nice, bringing water for the dogs and we nicked the water container as I had forgotten to bring one with me.
We set off on the walk Susan and I had done it last week so we had a good idea of the route. We climbed up the path, got this good view of Benaojan and plodded along the track. Mum was worried she'd struggle as she still has a bit of a chest infection but she did really well, only having to rest on the steep bits.

We passed by this old house, this would make a lovely conversion but I can't see broadband internet being available here!

We stopped for a break, this is the walking group.

This is the river Guadiaro and the railway line looking towards Cortes. It's a great walk, really peaceful and relaxing.

This is Mum on the high point of the track with a train on the railway in the background, I think it's a great photograph.

At the end of the walk, we stopped by a railway sign for a group shot. We made it in good time, we walked a total of 9.3km at an average speed of 4km per hour - a good steady pace considering the amount of height we climbed.

Right at the end of the walk we were rewarded with these lovley little goats, there must have been about 50 in a pen, a mixture of ages and sizes, they were all very friendly and came over to have a look at us.

I liked this one a lot, it was very inquisitive and friendly.
We walked back to the car and came home, Mum is on Tea Duty, Macaroni Cheese, one of my favourites!

You had better check the villa. I wouldn't be surprised if mum has sneaked the little goat home with her! lovely photos (also of the scenery not just the goats)
