It was supposed to be our day off from all types of chores today but that didnt last. I started off by talking the dogs for the usual walk round the olive groves, it's not such a good idea to go out at 8 as the school kids are all milling round so I cant let the dogs off the lead as much as I'd like.
We walked into town to hand over the photograph of Margaret to the wee man in the vegetable stall, he was delighted and I thought he was going to cry. He did say something about getting on the next flight to Scotland but I bet he doesnt have a passport so you're probably safe for now Margaret! He gave us the usual handful of small oranges and I bought some veg and bananas from him.
We had a drink in Santiagos bar and sat outside with the dogs. The only excitement to report is that the delivery man could not get in as a car was blocking his way, we all chipped in and pushed the car out of the way.
After Lunch we decided that we should at least clean the upstairs and get it ready for Tony and Lisa to sleep in. We cleaned and made the bed up, it looks quite nice and the sofa bed is very comfortable with the matress on top. It was a long day but I am glad it is finished.
I assembled the book case and poofees from Ikea, it is good to finally get the pc and all the gubbins in a tidy sort of state. I can also get my web cam set up, I often get calls from people on Skype and I cant talk to them as the web cam is in the cupboard. So, if anyone wants to call feel free.
Our friend Helen called and she has booked flights to come and see us at the end of April so it will be good to see her.
We finished the day with another walk, we visited the little horse that lives in the olive groves. It's been very friendly with us and we even gave it Apples yesterday, I dont know what went wrong today but it was not happy to see us, it chased Ben away, he was very scared and ran off quickly. It then tried to eat Susans shoe. The first pic is the horse running after Ben, I just missed him.
Thats all for today, tomorrow will be just as boring as all we plan to do is clean!
