Cleaning!!!!

It was always going to be an unpleasant day, we had so much cleaning to do! I had been up in the night, woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so was staring at the walls for an hour.

Susan walked the dogs then we got stuck in to the housework, we worked really hard but it paid off, the house looks clean and sparkling. A tortilla for lunch then back to the cleaning. We got finished mid afternoon, Susan watched a movie on the telly and I worked on a web site for Wedding Photography. I'm thinking of trying to get some photography work with the local English Speaking community on the coast on the basis that I could travel out and do the Wedding then travel home, the ideal mix of Scotland and Spain. I've been getting advertising prices for the local papers so I'll give it a go and see how I get on.

Took the dogs for an extended walk round the Olive Groves, met a family of Spanish kids with 2 dogs.

This hen has just had chicks, we thnk they were born today as they were not there yesterday.

This lazy spaniard walks his horse by driving down the track with the horse tied to his wing mirror, he then took it to a raodside and tied it to a lamp post to eat the green fresh grass.

This is Jimera de Libar, a nice village, we looked at houses here and we were quite taken with it but I am glad that we didnt buy there, it is north facing so for a fair part of the day it is in shade.

Our house from high up in the Olive Groves, the late afternoon sun was shining on it.
We'd worked so hard we decided to eat out, we settled on the El Gecko to see what it was like under new ownership. When we arrived it was full of the local Brits, we saw a few people that we know which was good. They were not serving food as they were having some sort of opening for a new bar or something, everyone was drunk so I didn't understand what was going on. We had a drink and a chat then headed up the hill to the restaurant there. A good relaxing evening then back for an early night, we leave early tomorrow to meet Tony and Lisa at the coast.
