Monday

I arrived back safely from the UK, Irene came again to give Mum company on the trip back. The flight was uneventfull and the drive back from the airport was quite fast. We met up with John and Jenny for a couple of drinks to say good bye to them.

Monday was a nice day, clear blue skies and quite warm, just what we'd expect for this time of year. We walked the dogs to Jimera and round the tracks for a couple of hours.

We spotted these 2 cats lying very close to each other.

We let the dogs have a swim in the river, it was not too fast and reasonably clean. We spotted this flower on the way.

Ben ran on up the track, he likes to be ahead of the pack.

These sheep were not too bothered about them, they just stood and looked at us.

Like usual we walked to the usual old cork tree, we sat and rested for a while then headed back.

In the afternoon, we had lunch, sat on the terrace for a while soaking up the sun. John and Jenny had said that the Romerea at Prado del Rae was quiet good, we drove up to try and find out when it is on. Unfortunately it was 2 week ago, never mind. Prado is a lovely little town, this is our first visit so we stopped and had a drink. The town square is being remodelled so there was alot of building work going on. We'll go back here.

We stopped at Ubrique on the way back, we wanted to have a look round but it turned out to be closed, very few shops or bars were open, even Liddle was shut so they must be having a May day holiday. Not a very successful day.

Our advertising banner arrived so I put it up at the balcony, we'll see if it generates any bookings.
