We caught up with 3 women, 2 sisters with the Mother. We exchanged"Holas" then it was obvious that they were English so I asked them if they were English, "actually Scottish" they said - so are we! They were staying at the Molino del Santo so we chatted for a while. They were trying to get the 1.30 train back and they asked where they were. Not knowing my GPS was 2km out I said that they were not even half way on, panic set into their faces as they realised they would not get the train. I offered Susans help to drive them back if they needed it. We said our goodbyes and we pushed on ahead of them.
We stopped for a break and they caught up with us again, they were obviously worried so their poor Mother was being hurried along at great speed. She aparently did a lot of walking and had even walked in the Asturia Mountains so she must have been pretty fit. They were from Edinburgh and I am sure we could have found some people that we both knew but they were in a hurry. We eventually caught them up again and overtook.
We reached the end of the walk very quickly and that was when I realised my GPS had been wrong, the walk took us around 1 and a half hours including stops - not bad for 9km. We spotted these goats in the farm, the one up the tree was pretty funny.
We couldnt raise the girls on the Radio so we headed to the bar for a drink knowing they would appear eventually. The Edinburgh Ladies arrived in plenty of time for the train and their Mother was still alive. I confessed my error to them and they were fine about it. We chatted for a while, they had also seen the dead horse and vultures yesterday and it became obvious that they loved this area so not to miss a trick I produced business cards on the house.
The girls arrived and found us, we had a drink and considered eating in the restaurant tonight, we decided against it.
Alli took this picture of us all on the platform as we headed back to the car.
Susna took this picture of the dogs next door, she liked the tartan waistcoat and I guess that she'll want one for Ben.
The afternoon was spent on the roof terrace eating and drinking, 3 of us finished books, it was very relaxing.

The woman in the bar came and asked us about the dogs, not sure what she was asking so she went and got a waiter who had been to College in Edinburgh and spoke English. I asked him what the lady had asked, it appeared she had been asking what type of dogs they were, I explained that they were Collies and used for herding sheep. "Yes he said, she's a sheep"

We ate Dinner at Mason Los Rosales next door, it was very good indeed. Dave and Susan ate baby pig!
An early night for us all as it's the Airport tomorrow
